yes..my company is hiring..got opening for 2 positions...n some of the requirements is i add de..hahaha i'm like gg to do HR work next week...calling the applicants, sifting through them, arranging for interview..at least that was wad my boss said tt me n my manager will do..i doubt i'll be doing the interviewing seriously..hahaha

ermz...the good thing abt my job? u got to learn really quickly n a lot...n dun gif pple too high expectations of u...like hw many jobs allow u to liaise with lawyers, directors, cpf, gst, banks n learn hw different businesses operate and in addition lets u learn hw to read n draft legal documents (unless u r in the legal profession), write professional reports (i'm not there yet) n also get the inside track on disputes esp rich family disputes...lol

the bad thing? the boss? or the wife? can't decide which one is worse.. hahaha but also depends on whether ur eight character clash wif his or nt..at least muz make sure ur chinese zodiac doesn't..hahah

i'm juz bored and waiting for my hair to dry...act i'm qt slpy...dunno y i havent been getting enuff slp..i was like totally stoned today..i muz strive to go to bed by 12 everyday...i noe i noe..some people will tell me that's late..but it's an improvement from nearly 1am...n it's nw 2.16am..ermz did i say slp by 12? i think i'll wake up at 12 tho..hehe

there was the chan brothers travel fair last weekend..tour package to turkey at $1588 for 10days..ok leh..nt too ex leh..like almost the same as gg korea..so the aunties asked whether we wanted to go...i was tempted...but i got no money...so ya..forget it...haix..so peck cek to see money growing so slowly....is there a kind of fertiliser to make it grow faster? haha

yup..ndp 2009! i think this yr's ndp is pretty exciting...makes me wish tt i was present at the parade itself...except tt...as usual...i fell asleep at the march past...sorry..but the march past nv fails to put me to slp whether i'm at the parade itself or at hme...but at least this time round i woke up in time to watch the last 45 mins of the show..last time usually by the i wake up they r alr singing the national day songs towards the end of the parade..haha oh ya..i totally dun understand y they muz rearrange the ndp songs...every year..very hard to singalong wif leh...in turn reduces the sense of participation tt the audience get...i think it's damn cool if eveyone sings the songs together..instead of only juz combined school choir singing...it's not a concert wad..it's a national day parade where singaporeans shud be able to participate in and feel like they belong and bond...i did scratch my head a little when they started singing the songs of the different era..was wondering hw tt figured into the national day..haha

the video below is the theme song for this yr's ndp... what do you see by electrico... i think it's qt nice ma..despite some people's gripe that it's not very suitable as an ndp song...probably coz it's does not inspire a rush of patriotism when we sing it like our other ndp songs? but looking at the lyrics i think it's quite thought provoking...at least for us the younger generation..having not gone through the hard times and changes in the process of nation building...what do you see? in the moon and the stars...

i also think it's nice coz it's not difficult to sing along with it...i think for an ndp song it's very impt that it's meaningful, catchy and easy to sing-along with...i rmbr there was a yr (can't rmbr which yr..i noe it's not sung by the usual pop singers) the ndp song the key was so damn high that i seriously dunno how anyone can singalong with it..tt reminds me..y is it that in recent yrs they dun play the ndp theme song as often that they do last time? i rmbr the earlier ndp songs sung by pop singers like home (kit chan), where i belong(tanya chua) they were pretty agressive in showing it on tv...like every hr they would play it kind...the first time i heard this yr's ndp theme song is during the national day parade just now..hehehe

ndp theme song for 2007...there's no place i'll rather be...it's a difficult song to sing....an example of a hard to singalong but nice song...

i think every year there'll be pple griping abt the song..hard to make everyone happy i guess..for this song i think the gripe was that the song mentioned the name of so many cities EXCEPT singapore..dots..when listening to a song, must look at the meaning of the lyrics ma...not whether it mentions singapore or not..next time u cum up wif a song entirely from the word singapore la..

on the other hand, since there are people commenting on songs and such...it means tt at least pple care enuff to comment on it..who says singaporeans are bochap..hmm maybe juz more say-ers den do-ers? haha

yup! the long awaited national day break...is almost coming to an end...heard on radio that there is a petition going on to increase the number of public holidays in Singapore...i'm so totally for it..especially during the june july period...totally no public holidays at all...increase 1 more day of public holiday for all the various ethnic groups la..in case u havent realise every major ethnic grp has 2 days of public holidays..chinese: CNY 2 days, malays: hari raya puasa and haji, indians: vesak day and deepavali, eurasian: good friday and xmas...so if we increase 1 day for each ethnic grp..we'll get.. FOUR extra days of holidays..haha dream on la..i noe..or we can make racial harmony day, total defence day, SM LKY's birthday, the date tt sir stamford raffles landed in sg a PH? hahaha yaya continue dreaming...somehow public holidays have become more impt ever since we started work...y is tt when we were studying we'll gladly make use of the PH to catch up on school work or rush out our projects and we dun ever complain tt we burnt our holidays..but when we start work..working on a PH seems like sin..wahaha difference between working for urself and working for others i guess..

anw went to watch public enemies with geri on friday...it's qt a nice show..but ermz..i fell aslp in the middle..at the every exciting part where john dillinger was robbing a bank some more..ya..ironic i noe..seat every comfy la..and the sound wasn't v loud...but i woke up soon after...haha i like christian bale..n geri likes johnny depp...but apparently some of the chronology of the events in the show wasn't qt right according to wikipedia...i wanna watch overheard leh..hehe

started korean classes on wed...interesting...so far..coz the teacher does share the culture of the koreans, explain their behaviour and such..like y is tt when we hear koreans speak they seem so rude? y do we get the misconception that it's a male chauvinistic society and such...so it's pretty interesting..such that 2.5 hrs seem to pass in a flash..
