have been complaining to anyone who's willing to listen
how crazy some schs r nowadays
i haf a sec 2 boy who learnt probability and sets
like crazy la
probability is sec 4 work n sets is like sec 3 amaths
n i hated sets like anything
i could nv grasp how to do sets
den nw ask me to teach

den i haf 2 sec 1 students who's doing sec 3 physics

my physics also cmi one lor..
after 4 yrs gg 5 how would i rmbr wad i learnt in physics
den next time go sec 4 learn a lvl stuff la
den no need go jc liao
go str to uni la..

wadx the point in teaching until so chim
coz ultimately everyone is taking the same o lvl wad..
not like u study more chim ur o lvl will test diff stuff

coz they think they cant perform
i believe that some subjects u'll req a certain lvl of maturity b4 u can truly understand it or at least appreciate it..
i think physics n chem r one of those subjects

crazy...if it gets any worse i think a lot of tutors will juz surrender..
can u imagine in future ur tuition kids learn sth more chim den wad u learnt..

Recess week has almost come to an end
so sad..
it passed so fast..

spent a lot of time giving tuition
it's the sian'est thing in the world
coz all their exams coming
for most of them is really 臨時抱佛腳

tt room was super duper cold
was blasted by the freezing aircon the moment we stepped into the room
we were shivering for 5 hrs
so cold..
but we bravely soldiered on n continued singing..
muz make full use of our time neh...

mid autumn festival was spent giving tuition
today is the day when the moon is the roundest and i spent it giving tuition
no life
sad life..

after the horrendous evening spent wif the spoiled brats frm hell
ok la maybe they r not tt bad

but sometimes u juz feel like strangling them to keep them quiet

it's not worth it
coz they dun gif a damn!

i dunno who to believe..
i dunno wad to believe...
i dunno how to believe..
it has been 2 yrs
i can imagine tt it will stretch into the next 20yrs of my life
or maybe 40 yrs or 50yrs
or as long as they live
or as long as i live...
sometimes i wonder
is anyone feeling the way i do?
i'm juz an ordinary ger who wishes for ordinary things
i dun wish to live a high life..
juz a simple life
with good friends to support each other
with strong familial ties
families can be stressors or buffers against stress
i believe mine falls into the first category...
things did not used to be like tt
why have they become this way...
i really dunno wad to believe...
i wan to believe this is false...
i noe i'm not helping much..
since i cant run away n pretend tt the problems do not exist..
i wan to solve the problem proactively
i dun wan to live like this forever..
but how?
i'm afraid of making things worse
my previous experiences at mediating has not been good...
with bad results..

yay! yay!
the amazing race on wheels is over!!
thanx bern n sheena for helping!
help was really needed...
otherwise we'll juz D-I-E die..
muz thank all the volunteers for coming down too
we ended up having more volunteers than participants
but nvm
at least we had a decent no of participants
hmm we think the event is qt cui..
but some participants found it fun...
i dunno...
as long as they enjoyed it n learnt sth out of it..
muz thank joan too
she got her frens to join n they were such good sport!
anw tt day was a super tiring day...
fri-lessons until 230..den go fal to do the clues n print the clues n all the misc stuff tt needs to be printed until 7+, in the meantime, eileen n sp were bz running all over sg buying the logisitcs stuff n denise n her fren was bz collecting the tables n chairs n wheelchairs...hmmm i got the lightest job..literally..wahahaha
finally we were done..
we met at denise's hse at 10+pm
10+pm - dinner, discuss a bit of logistics, n rest a while..
11+pm - started sorting ok maybe not..cutting paper..
12+pm - shower n pack wad we need to bring to the venue...
1+am - got out of denise's hse...was supposed to get my dad to drive the van..but it was a bit pointless as he can only drive for a while n denise's dad can take over frm 230am..so went to send sp home, pick eileen up n go my hse get some stuff..den went back bishan to pick denise's dad, den went to his office to pick up the log stuff...wah so exciting hor
2+am - finished packing the log stuf for the first trip to the park, set off for the park...horrors of all horrors, conaught drive was closed, so we couldn't park our car n van there, thankfully denise's dad managed to persuade the policeman to let us go in for a short while to unload the stuff...otherwise muz park damn far can!
3+am- started moving the stuff frm the unloading area to the open plaza..it's so near yet so far..it's really a lot of stuff for 3 gers can...even the poilceman was amazed...n the pple organising the party on conaught drive took pity on us...so they lent us a trolley...haha
4+am - still moving the logistics stuff
5+ am - still stll moving the logistics
6+ am - still still still moving the logistics but finishing soon...
7+am - moved finished the last of the logistics n oh shit! haven't set up the place yet..the clues not done, banner set up...n oh shit! the volunteers have started coming in...messy sia...
here's when bern n sheena came in..they took over doing the clues n everything..hengz
we also got the volunteers to help out in some areas...
so i went to brief the volunteers abt the games n where they r supposed to be at...
after tt i dun really rmbr the sequence of wad happened...
it was all so messy..n time passed so fast...
all i rmbr is tt i walked a lot...n i was tired..coz when we racee the place din seem so far...it was only tt day when all the places seemed so far away...n plus muz make a few trips somemore...
den later another batch of volunteers came...
they were a horror..
so noisy..so hard to manage...
most of them r ok la...
but some of them...spoilt childish brats...
more of a hindrance than help
i still cant believe wad they did...
den finally managed to settle them
1045am - the race begins!!
anw i think my briefing instructions were qt screwed..
3+ - everything ended
but a lot of things cropped up..
somehow some wheelchairs made their way to bishan..so had to go bishan to collect them
n u noe wad's the worse..
we were counting our tables n chairs n stuff...
n we found 2 foldable table legs missing
n do u noe where we found them?
by the bank of the river
like WTH la..
y throw our table legs n the wsc wooden pole into the river!
the worse part was none of them was ours..
the table legs were frm nanyang hse n the wooden poles were frm wsc
so i called the nparks person n asked her how...
so she asked me to call NEA
den NEA asked me to seek police assistance
so i called bukit batok police post...
the policeman was like..
u r in esplanade park y r u calling bukit batok police post?
den he suggested calling 999
i was like HUH! wad if they sue me??
this is not exactly the kind of emergency tt the police will handle rite?
so i din believe him
so we saw the auxiliary police in charge of the street party on conaught drive
so we went to ask them..
n they also ask us to call 999
so ok lor..
we called 999
den the police took so long to cum...
think they couldn't find us..
coz they kept walking on the esplanade side
when we kept telling them it's at esplanade PARK...

anw they managed to retrieve the things for us...
so exciting hor?

n i realised...

my frenz like to pangseh me...
at first my fren agreed to help me drive the van
den he suddenly say cannot make it
i was like WTH!
i wouldn't even haf asked him if we weren't desperate for a driver
den supposed to haf another fren helping wif the station master ic
but tt one can't blame her la..
she injured her leg so she can't cum
anw it's nt the first time tt i feel this way la...
i juz feel tt i dun haf the drawing power to draw all my frens to help when i really need help..
some pple juz haf this power...
but i dun..

but ya...
anw after e event ended..work continued..
we had to load everything back into the van..
fortunately jin chao was able to help us..
so we ban everything back onto the van..which we had to pack at esplanade..
super far can..coz conaught drive was closed n there was party gg on...
den we were finally done at 12+...
those who went to load n unload the van stayed until 2+am...
imagine...
do u realise nowhere in my post did i mention anithing abt eating n sleeping...
i gt home..went to bathe..fell aslp while bathing...den continued bathing..
den when i came out..act i wanted to wait for my hair to dry de
but i was too sleepy
so i juz fell aslp
n woke up the next day at 230pm

den yesterday went to celebrate sp's bdae
belated one...
went spaggedies n den party world!
shuang nv go k for like soooooooooo long alr...
today..life is back to normal..
i hope...
