shud i take a double spec??
got a shock when i saw the email
coz i nv expected myself to be eligible for it
so i nv thot much abt it..
ok muz slowly think abt it..
i'm afraid tt BNF will be too stressful
but yet at the same time i feel like challenging myself...
hmm dunno if it's worth it..
juz how much value does a 2nd spec add to my degree??

anw i went to perm my hair
i dunno whether i shud regret it or not
well it's not exactly wad i expected...
n i definitely haf to colour it...
how am i gg to survive thru ipho i dunno...
haha
actually i was supposed to accompany my mum to cut her hair
in the end she got tempted by the jap perm
so she got me to try it out first since i've been wanting to perm my hair anw
ya so i am the guinea pig..

oh my god
i was juz reading thru the reading materials for greece
it's 75 pges long n i'm only at pg 18
i mean it's interesting la coz i've nv had a chance to learn more abt greece
but still 75pges is juz too much
haha it's confusing to look at the names
a lot of them haf long names n some of them haf the same..
dun think i'll be able to finish reading it by next week

went to jj concert juz now

i went to check the seating arrangements at uNusual productions' website
our seats r worth $128
whooo!!!!
our view was really qt gd...

as usual his singing was powerful..
the only disappointment is tt he din get jy to be his special guest

i think he can be a comedian if he decides not to dance anymore

so some of the costumes were qt futuristic i guess

den there's this part where he's supposed to hit the big big chinese drum
den he wear like nv wear like tt
wif juz 2 straps across his chest
n bareback
den he so cute lor
after tt he was so awkward n shy tt he was wearing so little
den towards the end he cried while singing sarang hae-yo leh...
so touching lor
den his father also cried when he saw JJ continue singing while trying to control his tears
the songs tt he sang juz now are playing in my head now
they will change track la
now the song tt it's playing in my head is 'heal the world'

den i realised sth juz now
how cum singaporeans dun say "encore" when they wan more of the performance
they juz scream n scream
like actually there was this part tt JJ said bye to the audience
n i think we were expected to shout encroe encore
den he'll cum out to perform somemore
in the end we juz screamed n screamed den he cum out liao
so weird leh

oh ya den he also got sing other pple's song
like jay chou's black humour
i think JJ sounds betta at least his pronuncuation is betta

went for the imf training juz now
actually it was qt interesting la
but juz tt i was really too tired den really cannot sit down n listen w/o falling aslp

den imf uniform fitting ended liao
by goodness they do gif very last min instructions
coz the previous email said tt it will be until 23rd june
den today an email came telling us tt it has ended
heng i gor check mail today
otherwise i would haf gone all the way to kallang tmr for nth
haha
yay!!
i finally bought by perhaps love soundtrack
it's so nice n pretty
the postcards n booklet
actually was thinking for very long coz actually i only wanted the cd n not the extra stuff tt came wif it
n i noe the parallel import version has only the cd
den i was thinking wad the heck it's only 2 bucks more ex n it's an imported version
so i juz bought it
somemore dunno whether the uncle at amk still got the perhaps love sountrack or not
haha
now i only wan the movie's vcd n i'll be damn happy
haha
actually was looking for it at mj n cd rama
but they dun haf it anymore
so sad..
den was at popular to look for the book "eats, shoots and leaves"
n they dun haf tt either
i was qt disappointed coz i was act thinking of making full use of the 20% disc voucher
in the end i bought a ci yu shou ce for my p2 kid
a 5-yr series for my sec 3 kid
(moe doesn't come out wif 10-yr serieses anymore...but tt makes the 5-yr series cheaper la haha)
the da vinci code for my bro
a pencil for my p5 kid
a foolscap n a notebook for myself
i still wan my book... =(

wa past few days have been really tiring..
sun nite went to shanice's wedding dinner
she looked so pretty n so cute like piglet like tt..
both she n her husband dun look 24 lor
they look so young..
den seow n troy n grace couldn't make it
means our table left wf 4 of us
maureen vin erin n me
so us 4 gers had to finish a 10 course meal meat for 10 pple
first time i go wedding dinner can haf 2 servings of everything
haha
den mon early in the morning at 7 had to report at shangri la hotel for the eusea conference
altho it's a bit early
but minus the messiness in the organisation
the working environment is fantastic
where can u find a job that pays $8/hr
n for every 1 1/2 hrs u r only bz for 20-30 mins
rest o e time is spent slacking
drinking tea
-shangri la's tea is really qt nice so diff frm the lipton tea tt we always drink-
taking coffee breaks
chatting
n stoning
so altho we din haf a lunch break on mon
the coffee breaks tt we took more than made up for it
morning break got crossiant n danishes n puffs
den afternoon break got spring roll, pizza puffs
n the best item are the fruit tarts
fresh raspberry, kiwi n rockmelon wif cream
i had like 7 of them
2nd day break got charsiew baos n muffins
very nice..
den lunch (yes we had lunch)
fried ee foo mee wif a whole load of other stuff
the beef was really nice
n the dessert was so pretty
the chocolate fruit tart was so nice
pity denise felt tt it was sinful so she din eat it
haha
den coffee break again
had cakes
so pretty...
i like the chocolate ones
$8/pc leh
n we got to eat it for free
i regret nv dapao back
den the pple at the conference r nice pple
met this ntu professor from SCE
he treats us like old frenz like tt
still joke wif us
haha
den got the speakers also
i still remember the chair for the 1st 2 sessions
i think he's qt good looking in a french kind of way altho densie doesn't think so
haha
den the chair for the 2nd last session is also qt nice
den there's this guy who's part of the organising committee
anw he's the better looking one among all of them
den the gers were like muz get his msn b4 we leave
so funny..
den juz like the other time when i stopped work
i kena flu
this time i'm sure is my dad n mum pass to me de
got a bz half week ahead
tmr gg for imf training- 0830-1730
fri gg for tuition den gg kallang for imf uniform fitting den gg for tuition again
unless i dun go for uniform fitting
den sat got to go collect the tix n posters n go for chadian meeting afterwards
sun more relaxed la
go lamu's hse plan timetable
pls let next week be more relaxed

i've been wanting to blog
altho my blog isn't tt inactive
but i was too tired...
finally tmr i can slp in
so i can slowly blog
wahaha
sun went for mini igape at jalan bukit merah
the painting was ok la
but the cleaning of the window grills was a nightmare
i kept seeing window grills whwn i dozed off on my way home
den i think i strained my back while cleaning the window grills
so i had a terrible backache when i got home
thankfully it's gone now
otherwise i think i'll run to the chiropractician right away
coz i'll panic n start imagining myself being paralysed
wahaha
den went wif ek to eat tp kway chap after igape
YUM!!

i think i get eat it everyday
but it's like damn unhealthy la
so good thing i dun live in tp

den had to wake up early on mon to gif tuition
after tt met ek again to go facial
i think besides the fact that they removed the dead skin cells n squeezed out my blackheads
i dun think there was much of a diff
i dun like how she trimmed my eyebrows
so ugly
i still like the one tt the auntie at sin ming ave did for me...
i think i shud go for eyebrow embroidery
save me a lot of trouble

germany vs costa rico is on now..
it's the first football match tt i've watch
well i'm not exactly a football person..
i prefer basketball
but i think tt it's actually qt exciting
but i dunno if it qualifies as an exciting match in the eyes of the seasoned football watchers
anw taking into acc tt i'm supposed to wake up when the sky is still dark tmr
i decided i shud not let myself sink into it...
so here i am blogging..
i can imagine e feelings o pple who bet on football..
if it were me i think i wun be blogging here alr

anw restarted my tuition yesterday
was qt happy wif my p2 kid's result
i got the surprise of my life
but it really shows tt hardwork will pay off...
den today i got the heart attack of my life
when my p6 kid told me his mid yrs was all borderline
he even failed science
i dunno if the paper was too difficult
or if he wasn't in the right frame of mind
or if my teaching is not effective at all
coz he hasn't shown much improvement ever since i started teaching
but usu he'll maintain it
so this one was a real shocker..
he actually deteriorated..
again i guess it proves the point abt hardwork...
coz this p6 kid is the one tt doesn't do my work..
hopefully this has scared him..

anw enuff abt them..
the more i think abt it the angrier i get...

den after tuition dunno i suddenly had a craving for the dimsum at the coffeeshop near my grandfather's place
they got the best charsiew baos
altho my mum doesn't agree

so i bought 1 charsiew bao 1 fried chives dumpling n
sth else
isunno wad is it called
but it's qt nice
i's like minced meat n dunno wad else wrapped in beancurd skin n deep fried
ya so unhealthy rite all the fried stuff
den on my way home i alighted at admiralty
to go swee heng to buy my donut
coz my last impression of it was it wif a THICK layer of chocolate
tt could make my teeth ache
but apparently time has passed
i've aged
so has the donut
the chocolate was actually thinning
it's so thin until...

so sad..
den i also bought the salted bean paste ang gu kueh..
their is not very nice..
skin too thick..
i like the ones tt they used to sell at cake history..
den i also bought this diamond shape kueh
i dunno wad is it called..
i feel like a pig..
i ate so much today...
maybe coz i had flu today
having flu is tiring business
u expend a lot of energy
so it makes me hungry..
fever however is a diff matter..

den act i intended to go hand in my timesheet today
but coz my nose was running away

found out a piece of gossip juz now
anw it made the whole situation qt hilarious
altho i doubt the pple involved found it funny
but as bystanders me n my fren found it very funny..
we were luffing qt a lot..

am in the 'stomp' performance
suck leh..
coz i juz can't catch the beat...

n we nodded our heads..

den last nite met maureen to celebrate her birthday
haven't seen michelle n brian in like ages
anw it was nice to meet up again
n the place tt we went to was very nice

it's a boardgames cafe
if i'm not wrong it was featured on superfunkies last time
1 good thing i tt when u r playing games u dun need to keep trying to make conversation
it's fun!!
coz we were like qt braindead
well at least i was...
so we played all the reaction games
most of it..
until the pple there ran out of things to recommend..

so fun dun need to use our brains de...
n the food there is actually qt gd
i had lasagne
ya n the brownie is also very nice
it's served warm wif a scoop of ice cream
yum!!
