my god..
he's like so young only lor...
n he's so guai..
even my mum thinks so...
n he's the only child..
so poor thing...
life is so unpredictable...

is sth tt u wun think much of
until it happens close to u...
i think my bro qt upset
ya..
he was juz saying he didn't even dare to go look at his fren's body...
suddenly death seems so close...

firstly
muz thank everybody for a wonderful birthday this yr..
my aunties thot last sun was my bdae
so sort of had an early celebration for me
so funny..
thurs morning
got a pleasant surprise from my tut mates
sort of celebrated valli's n my bdae..
den in the evening
met up wif bern eileen mh n jb at ms
at changing appetites
food was gd n
i will always rmbr the confusion of the waitress when i asked for the bill n
she asked me whether i wanted the bill or the cake
haha
but i seriously think tt place is overstaffed
our cups were nv empty
haha...
after tt wanted to go merlion park
but wad started as a drizzle suddenly became a heavy downpour
when we reached one fullerton
so we walked thru fullerton hotel to raffles palce mrt
bern u very poor thing leh
wear heels some more
wahaha
fri went to watch zai shuo yi ci wo ai ni
the show by andy lau..
i kinda like the way they filmed the show
i dunno how to say in english
but in chinese is shi kong jiao chuo
very nice
den yesterday went geylang serai
wa..
nv been there during the hari rays period b4
the festive mood very strong leh
now dun feel like studying..
the first thing tt came to mind was namdaemun
this shopping place in korea
the area selling the goodies is so much bigger than wad we haf in chinatown during CNY lor
den also got sell turkish ice cream
i discovered a way to curb ur spending when u got the urge
juz carry a lot of heavy things in ur hands
n make ur wallet very inaccesible
sure won't spent de

after tt went to boat quay for the korean food..
it's really not bad
they've got a fan in me
it feels really korean n cosy..
den took some pix by the riverside
went fullerton hotel rest a bit
den went home
had 3 blisters after yesterday
but worth it
haha
all in all i think wad i ate these few days is enuff to feed me for 2 weeks on normal days
oops i'm getting hungry now
thinking abt the food...

i shall dream abt food tonite
grilled garlic prawns.. griled squid...lamb stew...
korean steamboat....here i cum...

sometimes we can be so fond of deceiving ourselves...
telling ourselves tt everything is fine...
as long as we dun mention it...
we think tt it doesn't matter
actually we r juz deceiving ourselves...
not toking abt it or not showing it doesn't mean tt it's not there
juz tt we choose to run away from the truth
n choose to believe tt everything is fine
tt everything will juz go away...
dun they think tt it's cruel to involve their children in their problems??
dun they feel the pain of their children??
y can adults be so selfish and insensitive at times??
will i become like tt?
den i dun wanna grow up...
not fighting or quarelling doesn't mean tt everything is fine..
juz tt underlying tensions are not dealt with...
sometimes i think relationships between siblings can be so superficial at times...

supposed to be doing report for stats now...
but got no mood to do and dunno how to do...
so i've been doing everything except stats
but everything does not include tutorials
haha
oh well at least i did look at the recorded lec
n attempted to do fm qns last nite
now i understand y pple who usually dun do their tutorial
usually wun do it at all
coz it's too tedious n takes a lot of patience n discipline
it took me hrs juz to finish 2 chapters only to realise that there r a lot more chapters to go

den i juz gave up
i think i shud do it tonite

after i finish my report..
but my wang zhi bian qing wa is so tempting..

i thik we r all beginning to feel a little burnt out...
tired..
from all the projects n deadlines..
also from the fact tt exams r nearing...
OH MY GOD!
y can't they juz spare us the last few weeks b4 the exams
springing an 'assignment' on us tt 's due on the last tutorial..
it''s 2 weeks + to our first paper
n i really dunno wad i've learnt fot this sem..
n i haven't started studying...
n exams...
they r not a matter of passing...
it'll kind o determine wad course u get into next yr...
so to get my preferred course of study i will haf to work...
but rite now i juz wish for a break
wif nothing to do
nothing to even think abt
juz stoning or watching tv...
maybe because it was due to the 6 mths break
our pace has slowed...
den rite at the beginnng we were thrown into the deep side of the pool
wif no time to get used to the depths n temperature of the water...
n in a this short period of time
we r expected to learn how to swim in the pool
n to swim well in all the different strokes...
the temptation to juz 'heck care' everything is very strong..
it's takes a lot of discipline to juz finish our work on time...
n to go for lectures...
everything seems to be so hectic...
there isn't even enuff time to build relationships wif pple ard us...
is my uni life gg to be like tt?

i really hate the thot of doing stats again next sem or next yr or anytime..
well basically nothing much happened in this week
mostly spent on doing projects...
oh maureen n i went for a breadmaking class on mon...
so fun...
i wanna go for more
hope they organise more of this
the bun ar i thing shud let it grow bigger
i think will be nicer..
den took cab home
alamak the uncle so bad leh
coz first time taking cab frm boonlay to my hse
he say i worse than china man
coz they noe the way ard betta than i do...
chey as if he noes the way to my hse like tt
n he's the taxi driver..
if i need to gif him instructions to my hse
y not i drive n he pay me..

dunno y my compose page is so weird...the icons r all vertical instead of horizontal..haha

anw this week was qt a bz week...
wed went for global entrepolis at suntec
qt dunmb la
they dun even need interpreters
they all can communicate among themselves...
so we go there to help them clear their food n drinks de

but there were qt a few interesting gadgets on exhibition
like how a thin banner actually has 9 layers which contain phosphorus
so when electricity passes thru it it will haf light..
so u can haf a lighted banner
den another gadget from japan
used by shoemakers or can be used in the healthcare industry
like a camera u juz put sth there n capture the image
coz it's connected to a computer
the real size of the image will appear on the computer...
so this does away wif the measuring of feet when custom making shoes...

den after tt had steamboat buffet at suntec

den yesterday went to collect the mp3 player from emit asia wif eileen
at first we thot tt i was v far away frm the mrt
but ended up it was juz rite outside the mrt

after collecting it we went over to boat quay to eat la mian
yum yum
i miss boat quay's food...
n the la mian is qt reasonable lor
for wad we paid yesterday it was only enuff to get us 2 bowls of lamian in crystal jade
haha
den somehow while looking for the toilet
we ended up in the cd shop in oub ctr
den we found some cds
took us some time to decide which one we wanted to buy
wahaha
ended up buying bossa nova
qt nice n soothing
diff from the usual pop

guess wad i totally forgot abt the accounting quiz on mon
n i still haven't study for it...
haha
today my mum n i went to johor
u wouldn't believe the queue
we queue for 2 hrs...
it was like so stuffy inside the immigration centre
at first i thot coz children's day so parents r bringing their children in for some family fun
but as i looked ard
there weren't many children in there afterall
so i concluded that the adults wanted to celebrate children's day too
haha
ok la tt was crap
so finally we got into m'sia
i went to make a new pair of specs...
yay
den had lunch at the secret recipe there
the fish n chips totally sucked
but my lamb stew was qt gd i thot..
my mum so weird
a few weeks back she was the one said she wanted to try secret recipe
today accompany her there
she didn't noe wad to order
dun wan to eat chicken dun wan lasagne dun wan cake
den ask her to choose the rice n stuff she dun wan
saw tt thw s'pore laksa there cost 15.50 n got a shock
so in the end chose fish n chip
which is like so awful..
the table next to us ordered some chicken stuff which look
oh so delicious!

den after tt we came back to s'pore
n guess how long it took us?
less than half an hr ok...

such a waste of my time...
ok i shud go back to doing my tutorials..
