juz worked 3 consecutive days o morning shift...tiring sia...
haven't done day shift on a weekday le...
today is really not my day...
as wad my section pple call it..." never bathe" means suai lar...
1.early in the morning the darn blur cso emailed us...thinking tt they emailed the wrong department...*which happens all the time* i emailed them back n told them to email the correct department the next time w/o checking the a/c...un fortunately i emailed to a whole lt of other pple which includes my supervisor...den kena shoot by them coz never check properly den anyhow email....stupid cso can't even tell between when a referral has been loaded or a tranx has to be referred in...
2.den kena a lot of referrals means got to call other bankers...tedious leh...
den an overseas banker referred in...haha think i was too nice to him..shud ask him for more info... torture him haha coz always kena torture by the overseas bankers when we call them esp dis bank.
den the rest of the day went quite ok...
den here's the best part...
at 9pm sharp juz as i was abt to leave gg to pick up my bag le...den this bugger from fullerton hotel called n demanded to speak to me...*i was thinking -shit- should have zhao earlier* den the merchant was super pissed.
here's how the story goes act she called in earlier to get approval but i had to refer to another bank n the other banker ask ch to call the bank's CS.so ok i thot it was juz a routine thing den nothing happened 4 the next 1/2 hr or so. den juz as i was abt to leave she called n said tt the bank's cso had told the ch tt he has alr been charged n he has taken back his card n refused to give it to the merchant...so i called the bank n they said the tranx has not been approved... so i told tt to the merchant... *by then she was highly hysterical* kept asking me how is she gg to charge the customer i was like "erm maybe u can ask him to pay by cash or other cards lar"
merchant: u think i still dare to go ask him for cash when it's our error!*quite fierce* now he's highly pissed coz he's in front of so many clients...
actually we said a lot more than dis but they all haf the same point so dun rmb those parts...
no choice called in my supervisor*thank goodness she has a habit of staying late to clear her work o/w wouldn't noe wad to do...*
managed to squeeze the name of the cso out of her...
vaguely remember her saying sth like if he refuses to pay they'll charge us for the bill...
dotx rite...
bloody cso's fault become our problem...
called the bank again toked to them again...
ch was highly agitated by that point of time...
think he threw a wineglass at the waiter...
can't believe it man pple who go to such high class places can actually do sth like tt...
my sup managed to reassure the merchant tt we r trying our best to help her...gave her reassurnce tt we'll follow up by getting tt bank to call the ch...
she calmed down after tt...

got the bank to call the ch directly to clarify wif him tt he has not been charged n fullerton was not cheating him...den finally after a few more phone calls between my sup n the other banker everything got sorted out* phew*
den my sup told me i cannot keep maybe-ing the merchants o/w i'll be eaten alive by them...
i shud be firm wif them...
shouldn't show my weakness-which is tt i'm quite new so got limited knowledge- to them
i learnt a very valuable lesson today...
but this lesson meant tt i left at 945 instead of 9 n i only got to watch the last 15mins of my show when usually i only miss the 1st 15 mins
but den again if it was me i would refuse to gif them my card also...afterall i would take the cso's word over the merchant's word...
luckily i'm not a cso... bad image haha
but can u believe it the csos r all graduates n they can be so blur...
i hope i dun become like them next time...haha
hopefully u all can't read my short forms...coz some r quite technical but can catch the gist can le
bought lunch from dis food court called banquet...the food is not too bad leh had the grilled salmon...quite nice...the salmon actually had fats coz normally the one other places gif r the cheap kinds wif no fats...salmon is only nice when it has lotsa fats... this is one fat tt u can eat w/o gaining weight...haha
ok lar i'm gg tp sleep le juz felt like putting dis incident on my blog hope i'm not breaking any banking secrecy law or any banking laws...dun want to go to jail...

SUX!!! the obmb pple r coming in today!!! means i can't watch tv today!!!i was so looking forward to my xun yi cao!!!!crazy pple give them weekend off they dun want want to come in n work for wad.... crazy pple...doubt they will be so hardworking when the dept moves to malaysia...
anyway haven't really been in a good mood since i got my results...kinda disappointed....din expect to get a what i got for econs which has always been one of my betta subjects...didn't really think there was a cause 4 celebration which everyone assumed tt was wad i did...

it's 3+ in the morning again n i'm updating again which means i'm doing night shift today so called the graveyard shift again...
the only thing different is tt there's no one to buy seafood soup for me today...*sob*
